Water Heaters

Water heater repair or replacement is rarely on anyone’s mind…except ours!  But your life is busy, and for the most part, water heaters last for a while and don’t typically have issues, so they are easily ignored until there is a problem.  However, calling Weeks Plumbing for service sooner rather than later can save you time and money on water heater services and the headache and cost of damage to your home when one fails.  We have up front pricing and knowledge of Union County’s water issues/concerns that allow us to make the best recommendations for your water heater installation, repair, and maintenance.

Why call Weeks Plumbing for your water heater?

We are Marysville’s water heater installation and water heater repair specialists.  We employ plumbers with the knowledge and skill to make repairs and ensure your installation meets local plumbing codes. Whether gas or electric, we can install any type of water heater.

Our plumbing technicians can provide fast service for all major brands and types of water heaters, including tank, electric, power vent, and tankless water heaters. Is your water heater not staying lit? We can help with that too. We also install and service all types of commercial water heaters.

As a locally owned, community-based Marysville plumbing company, Weeks Plumbing is part of your community and employs folks from the Union County area. Which helps create local jobs. Unlike those appliance stores, you can always trust our quality plumbing technicians who come to your home to make repairs or install your new water heater unit to be the best in the industry.

Tankless Water Heater Installations and Applications

Installing tankless water heaters begins with removing the traditional water heater tank and replacing it with an electric or gas heating unit to heat water directly. Also known as ‘on-demand’ water heaters, tankless water heaters heat only the water needed as it travels through the heating unit to the tap for immediate use. Any time you aren’t using hot water, no energy is wasted on heating it. At Weeks Plumbing, we can give you an endless supply of hot water when you need it while saving you money and helping you conserve water and energy. This also helps cut down on emissions into our environment, which is excellent news for you and your fellow neighbors.

How do you get a tankless water heater installed?

Tankless water heaters must be installed by a licensed technician to assure the warranty remains valid based on manufacturer’s specifications for installation. Because all homes are different, many factors determine where in the house you can install a unit.

We can come to your home and give you a free up-front estimate on location and prices. Installation of a tankless water heater may also require electrical work.  One of our trained and knowledgeable technicians can guide you in the process and assure you get what you need.

What are the options and applications for tankless water heaters?

Where in your house do you need hot water? Some homeowners prefer a single room water heater for one appliance they don’t use every day, while others who live in smaller homes opt for whole-house tankless water heaters. Either way, it’s essential to determine where in your home you want your new water heater located and how many gallons of water it is expected to handle daily. Our experienced technicians can help you determine what unit and systems meet your needs.

Toilet Repair & Replacement

It’s no secret that water can be an expensive utility, so conserving it is a priority. If your toilet is leaking or running constantly, or if your flush handle doesn’t work properly, the fixture needs attention sooner rather than later to save money on your water bill! Other problems with toilets can include wobbling, sewer gas odor, etc. and those issues can be repaired by our experienced technicians as well. Don’t put off toilet repairs until there is an emergency because nothing ruins a weekend or a holiday like a broken toilet!

Weeks Plumbing also offers high efficiency, low flow toilets to help conserve the water wasted by older models. If you’re ready to replace your old worn out toilet, or just want to refresh your bathroom with an updated, new model, give us a call to get an estimate on replacement.

Sink Installation & Repair

We have the experience to assure your sink is installed with attention to detail. We can make recommendations as to the best manufacturers with our industry knowledge, and we’ll complete the process from start to finish, removing the old sink and installing the new one, including faucets and garbage disposals. Because the sink you choose for your application is personal, it is important to get not only one in a style that suits you but also a sink model that is going to fit and work in the space within you are working. Many codes are in place for sink installations that we can assess with you.

Under the counter, leaks are also a common problem with sinks. Call us today to set up a time to look at your leak and determine what it takes to repair it. Sometimes it’s as simple as new washers, or valve replacement.

Faucet Installation & Repair

When you attempt to repair your faucet, you could find a problematic project on your hands because there is more than one type of faucet, and some are quite complex. At Weeks Plumbing, we can help you with all kinds of faucets, making repairs or installations quick and easy. We are experts with faucet application and options. With lots of different parts and brands, faucet repair can be difficult without industry knowledge.

Changing faucets and other fixtures can be a minor project that will refresh the look of your kitchen or bathroom. Our local plumbing technicians are here to help, trained to be detail oriented and qualified to make the repair or installation right the first time! We can install a customer supplied faucet or assist you in picking out a fixture that will work well within the space needed.

Backflow Inspection

A water backflow prevention device, a.k.a. “backflow device” is a rather odd-looking collection of piping as you can see in this picture, but it’s importance can’t be overstated.  These devices work to protect drinking water from contamination or pollution by preventing the backward flow of water through your homes pipes.  If water is able to flow back, or “backflow”, through your home’s water system, it could introduce contaminated liquids or gases into your drinking water.  This is especially important for home’s with a lawn irrigation system that could allow ground water containing lawncare products (pesticides, fertilizers, etc.) to enter into the drinking water of the home.

Most local entities (City of Marysville, Villages of Plain City, Richwood, etc.) require an annual inspection of backflow systems to ensure they are working properly.  We are specially licensed to inspect and repair backflow devices in the State of Ohio. If you need your device inspected or believe it may be damaged, be sure to contact us to get it inspected or repaired.  In 2022, the City of Marysville contracted with Backflow Solutions Inc.(BSI), a company that facilitates the inspections required for anyone using Marysville City water and having a backflow device.  Weeks Plumbing has worked with BSI for several years with other communities and were already prepared to navigate their systems/requirements.  Contact us to inspect your backflow, and prepare and submit the data for BSI.  We’ll ensure you’re in compliance with the City of Marysville’s directives for backflows.
